Valais Alpine Bike
A new route designed for singletrail lovers

Valais has a new multi-stage route that highlights the best alpine singletrails in the canton. The route starts in Crans-Montana, with a varied stage linking the centre of the Haut-Plateau region to the wine-growing region of Leuk, via the immaculate Tièche valley. You can enjoy sunny hillsides and narrow valleys where you can express yourself on beautiful, physical climbs, exciting technical sections and smooth downhills. A real pleasure for all mountain bikers.
Crans-Montana’s extensive territory, which stretches from the valley right up to the glacier, is an ideal playground for mountain biking in all its different forms. With the organisation of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in 2025, and being included in stage races such as Valais Alpine Bike, the destination is positioning itself as one of the most attractive regions for cyclists.
A new line for the wakepark
Crans-Montana’s wake park doubles in size

Crans-Montana has had a wakepark on Etang Long lake for ten years now, allowing thrill-seekers to enjoy wakeboarding, wakeskating and wake-skiing buoys in the mountains.
As the existing 140 m line is very popular, the wakepark has decided to double its lines, and offers a 120 m line for beginners as well as a new 170 m line for the more experienced. A new module has also be installed on the lake to allow the most creative to express themselves.
From the mid-June until mid-September, the wakepark will offer freestyle enthusiasts a wonderful addition to the already great variety on offer in the Bike Park and Alaïa Chalet.
Montana-Loc Flowtrail
Facilities for mountain bikers expanded

Crans-Montana is expanding its facilities for mountain bikes with the new Montana-Loc Flowtrail. This flowing descent winds its way down the Crans-Montana hillside via dirt roads and a section with sharp bends. Starting in the middle of Montana-Village, the course begins in the meadows just below the village, then plunges into the forest, crosses the Chemin des Contrées and ends in the vineyards above Loc.
There are no less than 12 routes, totalling 181 km of signposted courses, on offer to lovers of cross-country, enduro or e-bikes on the sunbathed hillsides of Crans-Montana.

Sustainable travel
Sustainability, a source of wealth

There’s nothing new in itself, because in Crans-Montana, the nature surrounding the resort has always been cherished as one of the main assets of the region. However we have decided to highlight partners and actions that are actively committed to sustainable development, because we are convinced that the future of tourism and our region is inseparable from intelligent and sustainable management of social, economic and above all environmental resources.
So here are a few concrete examples of what is being done in terms of "swisstainabilty" in Crans-Montana.
