NATURE - GET AWAY FROM IT ALL
The purest air in Switzerland, extensive sunshine and breathtaking views create the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the natural treasures on offer in Crans-Montana. Here, nature’s beauty is revealed in all its diversity; a rich variety of forests, numerous lakes, the Plaine Morte Glacier, which rises to 3000m, green alpine pastures and beautiful vineyards. There are endless possibilities for walking, whether along a typical irrigation canal or “bisse”, or around a lake in the heart of the mountains. The landscape changes naturally with the passage of the seasons, and takes on new colours, a different type of light, bewitching scents, and new sounds, creating a unique atmosphere. Nature will extend to you its finest welcome in Crans-Montana – whatever the time of year.
The Aminona region
A place to recharge and escape
The Aminona region is truly a place to escape to and to rejuvenate. It’s an opportunity to relish a deep breath of fresh air just a few minutes by (free) bus from the resort, whether you’re on snowshoes or ski-mountaineering on one of the routes in the rando park, or simply enjoying one of the sunny terraces.
Alone, or with family or friends, enjoy authentic winter experiences! Set off on a snowshoe hike with a guide and enjoy a fondue in the middle of nature. As for culture, a visit to the Colombire ecomuseum is a must in order to better understand the life of our ancestors on the mountain pastures. Help to make cheese, and after a traditional meal, take a sledge down to the resort in the moonlight.

In Crans-Montana, there are a thousand and one ways to enjoy winter and the snow. Many paths await walkers and families, from short walks in the resort to excursions further afield, high in the mountains.
In the Aminona region, a wildlife paradise, you can experience particularly magical hikes, with breathtaking views over the mythical Alpine summits. And for fans of ski touring, our rando park offers 15 routes with different levels (blue, red and black). Discover all the paths here:
