Bibi’s House welcomes the youngest family members, both in winter and summer, with plenty of entertainment, games and laughter. In winter, the golf course is transformed into an island of leisure activities, whilst in summer, visitors can fully enjoy all the family activities at the lakeside.
Snow Island
A favourite family haunt in winter
Bibi Snow Island, open from December to April, is an island of leisure and skiing fun on the famous Severiano Ballesteros golf course! This is a favourite family haunt in winter: snowtubing and a magic carpet for novice skiers and sledgers.
Don’t miss out on a visit to la Maison de Bibi, the house of Crans-Montana’s famous marmot mascot. Bibi welcomes children of all ages to his home, which is situated on the golf course throughout the winter. Lots of entertainment and activities such as crafts, games, snow painting, sledge races, snowman competitions and a library corner are available, all under the guidance of Crans-Montana Tourism and Congress staff.

Ycoor Centre
Ice sports in the spotlight
The Ycoor Centre offers spectators, skaters, hockey players and curlers modern and high quality facilities. A magnificent indoor and outdoor skating rink with a total surface area of 3000 m2 bordered by sunny terraces animates the centre of Montana.
Open every day, families will be able to share moments of joy and fun as well as practice hockey or figure skating, not to mention curling, a sport to be discovered in the indoor hall. Winter will be punctuated by night ice-skating every Saturday evening as well as ice discos, shows and competitions.

The lantern path
An enchanting walk in the mountains
From 4 December 2020 until 31 March 2021, the lantern path will plunge you into the enchanting legend of the Bella Lui Star, so that you can experience an enchanting winter season in the mountains.
The days are getting shorter, temperatures are dropping, and the first snowflakes are falling. It’s the beginning of the most magical of all seasons. Based on the story of “The Shepherd and the Bella Lui Star“, the festival celebrates the magic of winter lights in the mountains. In a convivial and family spirit, explore the unspoilt natural area around the centre of Crans-Montana as you walk the Lantern Path between Lake Moubra and Lake Etang Long, and experience winter in the mountains.
New for 2020/2021
Every winter, the lantern path offers you more and more magic, an enchanting experience that you simply must experience, especially at nightfall. Immersed in nature and guided by glittering lanterns, explore the projections by the photographer and committed artist, Philippe Echaroux. By making his art accessible to everyone, and by defending causes such as ecology that are dear to his heart in his projections, this nature-lover will lead visitors to the Haut-Plateau into his enchanting world.
Nursery for visitors
For the happiness of both kids and parents!
Crans-Montana has been awarded the «Family Destination » label, and offers childcare facilities at the Bibi nursery. The nursery opens its doors between December and March. Families who pay visitor tax can enjoy a childcare service for their children within the Hotel Etrier, a Families Welcome hotel. This nursery for visitors to the resort, which is designed to reflect the universe of Bibi, the famous Crans-Montana marmot mascot, offers children different indoor and outdoor entertainment, games and activities all led by professionals.

Ski Kindergarten
Even the youngest ones can learn
Our ski schools welcomes children from the age of 3 upwards in our secure area at the ski kindergarten. Specialised instructors will help children make their first steps on the snow or to progress whilst having fun.
The Montana-Arnouva cable car is free of charge, allowing families to easily access the snow garden.
