La Maison de Bibi welcomes the youngest family members, both in winter and summer, with plenty of entertainment, games and laughter. Crans-Montana, which has been a certified "Family Destination" since 2016, has been awarded the quality label again for 2022-2024. Crans-Montana easily meets the many requirements of the Swiss Tourism Federation for the "Family Destination" label, which distinguishes holiday destinations which have offers specifically geared to the needs of families.
The entire service chain is proud to be able to offer a welcome adapted to families: from transport to accommodation, as well as restaurants, all stakeholders in the destination have worked together for this result. Amongst the strict criteria demanded for the label; infrastructure for families, such as playgrounds, picnic and barbeque areas, hiking paths that are accessible with pushchairs, and swimming lakes.
Nursery for visitors

Crans-Montana has been awarded the «Family Destination» label, and offers childcare facilities at the Bibi nursery. The crèche, Croc'Montagne, located in the heart of Crans-Montana, in the same building as the library, will now be open all year round and will offer childcare for parents. The nursery, which is designed to reflect the world of Bibi the Marmot, the famous Crans-Montana mascot, offers children from 2 to 8 years old a variety of indoor and outdoor entertainment, games and activities, all led by professionals.

If there’s one family that makes the most of crans-montana’s sport activities and facilities, it’s séverine pont-combe’s family. The ski mountaineering champion and her husband nicolas are not just active in the ski touring park, they’re also passionate mountain bikers and they’ve introduced their two daughters to the discipline.

Les jardins de Bibi
A favourite family haunt in summer
Ycoor is the centre of attention during the summer season, as all of the area are transformed each summer into a relaxed and friendly village square, with basketball courts, bowls, unihockey pitches, tennis tables, electric cars for children and a minigolf course.
The Orangery, an ideal place for celebrations, will also make an appearance, and will mark the summer’s events. And for those missing winter, the indoor ice rink will be open to the public.
Don’t miss out on a visit to la Maison de Bibi, the house of Crans-Montana’s famous marmot mascot. Bibi welcomes children of all ages to his home. Lots of entertainment and free activities such as crafts, games and a library corner are available, all under the guidance of Crans-Montana Tourism and Congress staff.
Moubra
An oasis for sports
The Moubra region is ideal for the practice of many outdoor and indoor sports. At the Fun Forest Park, young and old alike can venture into the trees while water lovers can enjoy the magnificent lake by swimming, fishing, paddleboarding board or pedalling. In the Moubra forest, you'll find a Vita Parcours and three Helsana Trails for running, as well as a family forest loop to discover the joys of mountain biking. Only a few steps away, the Moubra Centre offers a 500 m2 climbing wall and a 100 m2 bouldering area. In the same sports centre you will find 3 indoor and 6 outdoor tennis courts.

A family treasure hunt
Crans-Montana is full of secrets. In an exciting treasure hunt, which you can do at any time, set off in search of the treasure that Bibi, our mascot, has hidden in the destination. With the help of the map and additional info which you can pick up free of charge at the tourist office, children will be able to retrace Bibi’s steps and find the treasure, and there will be a little surprise in store for them too. This 45-minute walk in the heart of Crans-Montana takes you to explore many places and activities which are perfectly suited to families.
