CARPE DIEM - TIME TO RELAX
Crans-Montana is a place where you can forget your daily stress and live fully in the moment. Designated a "family destination", the area caters to families with its numerous activities and entertainments. Wellness and shopping enthusiasts are invited to relax in one of the beautiful spas and treat themselves in the rue du Prado, the street that brings together the finest luxury brands. As for gourmets, they can savour a varied and international cuisine, from the mountain huts offering traditional dishes to award-winning restaurants. A casino, a bowling alley, a 3D cinema and many bars and clubs make Crans-Montana a popular spot for visitors looking for a dynamic and vibrant destination.
GASTRONOMY

In Crans-Montana, whether in the resort or on the pistes, all lovers of gastronomy will find what they’re looking for, thanks to a variety of different restaurants ranging from take-aways to Michelin starred chefs.
Quality local produce, lots of food and drink related events, as well as passionate chefs and craftspeople all illustrate the riches of our regional gastronomy. Indeed, Crans-Montana is delighted to have two Michelin-starred establishments amongst its many restaurants, Franck Reynaud’s Hostellerie du Pas de l’Ours and recent addition, LeMontblanc by Pierre Crepaud. Thanks to their incredible talent, these two French chefs, Valaisan by adoption, interprete with great delicacy all the different flavours to be found in our local produce. Although their creations have kept a hint of the south, they are best savoured with a fine Valais wine, naturally.
If you find exotic cuisine mouthwatering, you’re in the right place. Crans-Montana is an ideal place to set off on a gourmet tour of the world, for a change of scene, enjoy a Lebanese, Japanese or Portuguese meal. And if you’re missing a raclette or other Valais speciality, there are plenty of mountain huts and restaurants happy to welcome you for a traditional mountain meal.
A TOP CLASS WINE REGION

It is important to remember that Crans-Montana is also a top class wine producing region, and wine tourism is becoming increasingly important. In fact numerous experiences are on offer, ranging from experiencing the grape harvest to wine tasting, to exploring the sun-drenched hills, and also the local wines. An association of local wine growers was even formed in 2016 to promote Haut-Plateau wines.
